Über die Höhenstraße aus Waidring mit dem Auto erreichbar (10 Euro Maut), oder auf dem Wanderweg. Sehr idyllisch gelegen, sehr gemütlich und urig eingerichtet. Wir haben einen schönen, ruhigen Nachmittag hier verbracht. Alles hat geschmeckt und die Bedienung hatte Geduld mit uns ;-) Wir waren beim Bestellen nicht die Schnellsten.

Wenn man die Mautstrasse (10€) Steinplatte hoch auf ca. 1400 m fährt kommt man zum Parkplatz Steinplatte. Von dort aus ca.10 min gehen ca 650m mit Steigung, kommt man zur sehr schön gelegenen Stallenalm. Personen ist sehr freundlich, Preise sind Fair, das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Ein Ausflug wert. Wer möchte kann bis zur Steinplatte hoch weiter Wandern noch mal ca 1,5 Std. Bus zum Gipfel.

Auch zu Stoßzeiten (zwei Reisebusse kamen gleichzeitig) musste man nicht zu lang auf das wirklich Leckere Essen warten. Bis jetzt der beste Kaiserschmarrn in Österreich!
