Quelle: GoogleWir waren am 6. Feb. 2024 über Mittag im Restaurant Safran und hatten uns für ein Mittagsmenü von der Wochenkarte entschieden. Zuerst gab es eine Linsensuppe nach Art des Hauses (mit Zitronenschnitz, zum Variieren des Aromas), welche uns äusserst positiv überrascht hatte. Danach hatten wir Chicken Korma (Zartes Poulet Fleisch an einer milden, sahnigen, leicht süsslichen Sauce mit Cashewnüssen) mit etwas Linsengemüse sowie Basmati-Reis. Das Menü hat unsere Erwartungen definitiv übertroffen. Der Gastgeber ist äusserst charmant, freundlich und erklärt einem, im Falle von Fragen, alles sehr kompetent. Der generelle Service ist ebenfalls sehr probt und aufmerksam. Wirklich eine positive Überraschung in Solothurn, nur wenige Schritte ausserhalb der Altstadt.
