Wir haben hier sehr lecker gegessen, Portionsgröße in Ordnung; Preis-Leistung passt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Gaststube im EG ist sehr urig rustikal und authentisch. Oben auch rustikal, aber neuer. Fazit: Insgesamt ein ehrliches Gasthaus mit leckerem Essen und Getränken zu angemessenen Preisen.

Tolle Gaststätte mit tranditioneller Thüringer Küche und kleiner, aber feiner Nächtigungsmöglichkeit. Nicht nur interessant für Touristen (neben den zahlreichen Stammkunden), sondern auch für Dienstreisende durch das familiäre Flair und den netten Umgang der (vor allem jüngeren) Belegschaft. Bodenständig und unkompliziert, so wie man es als österreichischer Gast gerne hat.

Ich war hier zum Essen OHNE Übernachtung. Dadurch kann ich bisher keine Aussage über die Zimmer machen. Das Restaurant ist schön, das Essen ist lecker und die Preise sind für die großen Portionen super. Ich hatte eine Haxe mit Bratkartoffeln und sehr saurem Sauerkraut. (Ich weiß nicht, ob das thüringische Sauerkraut regulär saurer als das hessische Sauerkraut ist.) Das ist der einzige Kritikpunkt, der mir aufgefallen war. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.
