Dies ist meine ehrliche Bewertung des Restaurants Khora. Dieses festliche griechische Restaurant im Genfer Viertel Eaux-Vives ist ein fantastischer Ort für einen lebhaften Abend. Ich besuchte Kollegen an einem ihrer besonderen Donnerstagabende (die einmal im Monat stattfinden), wo man an der einzigartigen Tradition teilnehmen kann, Teller auf dem Boden zu zerschlagen – eine unterhaltsame und temperamentvolle Aktivität, die eine „authentische“ Note verleiht. In Kombination mit einer griechischen Live-Musikband entstand eine unvergessliche Atmosphäre.Das Essen reichte je nach Gericht von durchschnittlich bis sehr gut, aber insgesamt war es ein angenehmes gastronomisches Erlebnis. Das lebhafte Ambiente und die kulturellen Elemente machten die Unterschiede in der Essensqualität mehr als wett.Wenn Sie planen, an einem dieser besonderen Abende teilzunehmen, empfehle ich Ihnen unbedingt eine Reservierung, da der Abend sehr gut besucht war. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Khora. This festive Greek restaurant in the Eaux-Vives neighborhood of Geneva is a fantastic spot for a lively evening out. I visited with colleagues on one of their special Thursday nights (held once a month), where you can take part in the unique tradition of breaking plates on the floor—a fun and spirited activity that adds an « authentic » touch. Combined with a live Greek music band, it created an unforgettable atmosphere.The food ranged from average to very good, depending on the dish, but overall, it was a pleasant gastronomic experience. The vibrant ambiance and cultural elements more than made up for any variations in food quality.If you’re planning to attend one of these special evenings, I highly recommend making a reservation, as it was very well attended. Unser Kellner war freundlich, aufmerksam und kannte sich gut mit der Speisekarte aus, gab tolle Empfehlungen und beantwortete alle unsere Fragen.Aber nicht nur der Service hat uns beeindruckt, auch das Essen war absolut lecker. Wir begannen mit den Mozzarella-Kugeln, einer Vorspeise mit flammendem Käse, die sowohl Spaß machte als auch gut schmeckte. Für unsere Hauptgerichte bestellten wir verschiedene Gerichte – von Moussaka über Kefta bis hin zu Meeresfrüchten. Jedes Gericht war perfekt zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Und die Portionen waren großzügig und sorgten dafür, dass jeder zufrieden war.Was uns wirklich auffiel, war die Liebe zum Detail bei der Präsentation jedes Gerichts. Das Essen war nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch wunderschön angerichtet und mit frischen Kräutern und buntem Gemüse garniert. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and accommodated our large party of 11 with ease.
