Ich wurde als einzelner Wanderer aufgenommen, obwohl eigentlich Ruhetag gewesen wäre, dass dann nicht "a la carte" gekocht sondern mir eine kleinere Auswahl an Essen angeboten wurde ist völlig in Ordnung. Die Bewirtung war gut, das Zimmer ebenso. Ich kann die Unterkunft besten Gewissens empfehlen.Aktivitäten in der Nähe: Fußläufig zur Burg Forchtenstein.

Wir waren viele Jahre hier zu Gast im Gasthof Sauerzapf, auf der Durchreise am nächsten Tag nach Ungarn mit unserem kleinen Hund Picolo. So einen Gasthof gibt es nicht gleich noch einmal. Die Wirtsleute so aufgeschlossen und herzlich. Die Speisen vom feinsten, alles selbst zubereitet und sehr lecker. Auch die Zimmer bestens eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist toll, in der Nähe ist gleich die Burg Forchtenstein. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle. Man kann den Gasthof nur bestens weiter empfehlen. Macht weiter so.
