The Altes Kellerhaus in Katzelsdorf, originally built in 1585 as a press house for the Frohsdorf estate, has a rich history. Since 1909, it has served as a tavern and snack station. After a three-year hiatus, it was reopened on April 1, 2023, by its new operators, Kristoffer and Jessica.
The Kellerhaus places great emphasis on sustainability and social responsibility. It supports local culture and traditions by offering regional products and preserving long-standing customs.
For events, the Kellerhaus offers flexible spaces: the rustic "Jagdstüberl" accommodates up to 30 people, while the vaulted cellar can host up to 100 guests. The latter is equipped with modern lighting and sound technology, as well as a separate bar and buffet area. Together with regional partners, tailor-made solutions are created for various events.
