Ich kenne mich in Bochum nicht aus, aber dieses Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert. Sehr gute Küche - die Köche haben mich komplett überzeugt. Sehr guter Service - Zuvorkommend, sehr nett und vor allem sehr aufmerksam. Location - ja es ist in der Lobby vom Hotel und es passt auch dazu. Weiter so! Komme wieder!
Quelle: GoogleIch war am 31.1.2025 da. Bochum selbst hat mir nicht so gut gefallen im „Winter“, aber ich hatte einen tollen Abend im Restaurant VIU. Die Küche – wow. Die Menschen, vom Koch zum Kellner – wow. Ein ganz toller individueller Service! Vor meinem Besuch hatte ich mir bei einem längeren Spaziergang vom Katzenrestaurant zu Edel-Italienern, dem VIU, dem Waldhotel und dem Livingroom verschiedene potentielle Restaurants angeschaut. Danach war es für mich eine einfache Entscheidung zum VIU zu gehen, und das habe ich nicht bereut. Selbst auf mein Email-Feedback zur Weintemperatur habe ich eine klare Antwort ohne Satzbausteine erhalten. Ich komme wieder! Das VIU hat mehr Gäste verdient, ich kann es nur empfehlen!
Quelle: GoogleWir haben zufällig von der Neueröffnung des Restos erfahren und weil die Lage am Stadtpark für Bochum einfach grandios ist, wollten wir es ausprobieren. Die Küche ist exzellent mit einer kleinen, feinen Karte voller liebevoller Überraschungen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und das Ambiente in der Hotellobby hat uns gut gefallen. Irgendwann soll es auch eine ansprechende Außenterrasse geben - sonst sitzt man etwas unbehütet in der Auffahrt. Wir wünschen dem Team viel Erfolg und Geduld, sich weiter zu etablieren - ein echter Gewinn für BO. 🙏
