Die Sausteigalm ist ein Ausflugsziel dass man entweder per Abstieg von der Bergstation des Zwölferhorn, per kurzem Aufstieg vom Parkplatz der Lärchenhütte oder direkt per Aufstieg aus dem Oraumhaftenrt St. Gilgen angehen kann (je nach Fitness)Der Aufwand wird entschädigt mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Wolfgangsee, den Mondsee und den Krottensee, was schon außergewöhnlich schön ist.Die Lokalität selber hat praktische Sitzplätze für Sonne oder Schatten, eine gute Küche und sehr nette Wirtsleute.Bei ausreichend Essen u. Trinken kann man es stundenlang dort aushalten und auch die freilaufend Rindviecher beobachten, sehr interessant...

Man sitzt hier mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den See und die umliegenden Berge. Die Kaspressknödel sind einen Kniefall wert und vom Kaiserschmarrn will ich gar nicht reden. Absolut einen Besuch wert. Man kann hier auch bis 500m davor mit dem Auto fahren. Maut Straße 4€.
