Wir haben auf unserer Radtour in Altensteig übernachtet und abends hoch in die Altstadt gewandert, um im Engel zum Abendessen einzukehren. Schönes, altehrwürdiges Haus, schöne Terrasse mit toller Aussicht. Die Patronin Catarina ist eine sehr herzliche und nette Gastgeberin (wir haben uns ordentlich festgequatscht 😂). Die Karte bietet einen guten Standard (Pizza & Pasta)… und es ist doch so: einfach ist meistens auch gut. Und so war es auch: sehr leckere Pasta… und bei einem leckeren Vino rosso auf der Terrasse in abendlicher Stimmung und netter Wirtin: besser geht’s nicht! Und danach noch ein schönerer Spaziergang in der Altstadt. Toll.

Die Bedienungen sind sehr höflich und zuvorkommend, im einklang mit der schönen Einrichtung ist die Atmosphärisch durch das gedimmte Licht unfassbar entspannend. 10/10
