Die Hütte ist von der Talstation Dachstein für ungeübte Wanderer in ca. 45-60min erreichbar. Es geht aber fast nur Bergauf. Die Wanderung an sich ist aber schon lohnenswert aufgrund der grandiosen Sicht bei gutem Wetter und dem beeindruckenden Felsmassiv auf der anderen Seite. Das Personal war sehr nett. Barzahlung ist hier gern gesehen, obwohl Kartenzahlung auch möglich ist (mit Überredungskunst und Trinkgeld in Bar war es dann möglich). Preislich ist der Kaiserschmarrn mit 15 Euro besonders teuer. Nirgendwo haben wir mehr dafür bezahlt! 👎Geschmacklich gut, wie auf fast allen Almhütten. Die Gulaschsuppe und der Hüttentopf waren super lecker und die jeweils ca. 10 Euro auch wert. 👌Der Apfelstrudel war köstlich und preislich mit ca. 7 Euro inkl. warmer Vanillesauce auch okay.Kinderfreundlichkeit: Für genug Spielzeug im Sandkasten ist gesorgt.
