4 oder 5 Sterne, das war jetzt wirklich ne janz knappe Kiste. Aber der Reihe nach. Das Ambiente hätte theoretisch zehn Sterne verdient. "Auf die inneren Werte kommt es an" sagt man. Und das trifft beim Old Commercial Room definitiv zu. Von außen kann man kaum erahnen, welch gastronomische Geschichte sich innen befindet. Alle Plätze sind umgeben von unzähligen Fotos jener Gäste, die sich in all den Jahren irgendwann einmal ebenda niedergelassen haben. Es gibt zu jedem Tisch eine Liste der Prominenz, die dort an diesem Tisch schon gesessen hat. Bei der Speisekarte ist für jeden etwas dabei. Ich hatte noch nie Labskaus gegessen und habe dieses norddeutsche Traditionsgericht probiert und sehr genossen. Passte wunderbar zum Kellerbier und dem Kümmel-Digestiv. Das Personal war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und das gesamte Ambiente sehr stimmig. Extrem authentisch.
