Sehr zu empfehlen, eine köstliche Tomatensuppe vorweg, dazwischen einen Salat von Buffet (der Spargelsalat mit getrockneten Tomaten war der Hammer), als Hauptgericht ein Kochkäseschnitzel mit Pommes. Das Schnitzel war frisch souffliert, also KEIN Convinience-Produkt, wie man es leider allzuoft serviert bekommt (man beachte diesbezüglich meine Rezensionen diverser Restaurants in Schwetzingen). Alles sehr schmackhaft, serviert von freundlichem Personal ohne lange warten zu müssen. Die Preise sind mehr als angemessen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.
Quelle: GoogleEtwas in die Jahre gekommenes Ambiente wird durch das wirklich sehr gute Essen dort mehr als ausgeglichen. Wir hatten das Kalbsrückensteak und die Schweinemedallions. Exzellente deutsche Küche!!! Noch ein großes Lob für die Herzoginkartoffel: Genial gut! Update: Gestern waren wir wieder dort und haben uns verwöhnen lassen: Kalbssteak, Herzoginenkartoffel mit Pilzsauce, Salat: Ein Gedicht - das Beste was ich seit langem gegessen habe Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur in den allerhöchsten Tönen loben. Wer gute deutsche Küche will ist dort bestens aufgehoben! Wir kommen in jedem Fall öfter zum Essen hier hin!

Ich hatte einen „Hirschkalbsteak nach Art der Försterin“, war wirklich sehr lecker, allerdings wäre ich gerne gefragt worden wie durch ich mein Fleisch mag und die Zimtnote in der Sauce war etwas zu dominant (zumindest hat sie sehr danach geschmeckt 🙉). Alles im allem waren wir dort sehr zufrieden und kommen auch gerne wieder vorbei 😊
