Wir waren anlässlich der Schlemmerwochen vor Ort und haben auf sehr sehr charmante Art die Wartezeit mit einem Gläschen Riesling und der Empfehlung, eine kurze Weinbergstour zu unternehmen, verkürzt bekommen. Das Essen war wunderbar und der Service aufmerksam!

Das Weingut Trenz liegt im Ort Johannisberg bei Rüdesheim. Es gibt einen grossen Parkplatz hinter dem Haus, hier ist auch die Mitnahme von Wein einfach möglich. Das Innenleben des Restaurants ist gemütlich in modernes Holz- und Steinambiente eingefasst. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Innenhof mit Aussenplätzen, wenn das Wetter gut ist. Nun zum Highlight, dem Essen neben dem gutem Wein. Die Gerichte sind aussergewöhnliche Kompositionen, die ich in einem Weingut nicht erwartet hätte. Die Zusammenstellung von Steaks, Braten und Co mit den besonderen Zutaten, machen das Geschmackserlebnis aus. Ausserordentlich, auch die Preis/Leistung.
