Ich hatte das grosse Vergnügen, meinen Geburtstag im Glacier Restaurants Fine Dining & Hotel zu feiern, und ich wurde damit von meinem Freud überrascht, ich kann nur sagen: Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, das jeden Moment wert war! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir von der Rezeption herzlich empfangen. Die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams sind herausragend – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und umsorgt. Jeder Wunsch wird einem von den Augen abgelesen, vorallem Tony kann das sehr gut, auch wirklich ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Das Ambiente ist einfach atemberaubend: Eleganz trifft auf Gemütlichkeit, mit einem Hauch von Luxus, der einem das Gefühl gibt, etwas ganz Besonderes zu erleben. Die Aussicht und die liebevoll gestalteten geometrischen Details im Restaurant tragen dazu bei, dass man komplett in den Moment eintaucht. Und dann das Essen – einfach himmlisch! Jedes Gericht ist ein Kunstwerk, das nicht nur optisch begeistert, sondern auch geschmacklich eine wahre Offenbarung ist. Die Kompositionen sind perfekt abgestimmt, und die Weinauswahl ergänzt die Speisen auf höchstem Niveau, immer mit Begründung und Erklärung. Mein Geburtstag - von der liebevoll arrangierten Dekoration bis zur kleinen Überraschung des Hauses (Schokomousse-Herz), man merkt einfach, dass hier jedes Detail mit Hingabe gestaltet wird. Ich wollte gar nicht mehr nach Hause, so schön war es! Vielen Dank an das ganze Team – ihr habt meinen Tag perfekt gemacht!

Wir haben das 5-Gänge Menu genossen. Die Speisen inkl den Snacks waren alle ausgezeichnet und von der Menge her auch genug. Die Weinbegleitung dazu war gut ausgewählt und spannend. Der Service war top und aufmerksam. Wir hätten es begrüsst, wenn der Chef nach dem Essen kurz Hallo gesagt hätte. Es ist interessant der internationalen Klientel des Petit Glaciers nebenan zuzuschauen, aber trägt nicht unbedingt zu einem sonst geschmackvollen Ambiente bei.

Glacier Fine Dining is a hidden gem and truly the most underrated French-Swiss restaurant in Switzerland. The chef’s creativity is unmatched – they crafted an incredible flavor combination using just orange and fish that was unlike anything we've ever tasted. The venison was perfectly cooked and surprisingly delicious, and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. Honestly, the food here surpassed what we’ve experienced at a Michelin 3-star restaurant in Paris. This place is on another level – highly recommended for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience!

The restaurant has two sections, a la carte and a fine dining section, which was Michelin star rated. My wife and I ate at the latter. The food was impeccably presented and tasted as delicious as it looked. The service matched the food, the cost emptied our wallet, but we knew what we were getting into. Addendum: We ate there in June, but I am now just posting this.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Glacier Fine Dining, and it was the best dining experience we have ever had. We did the seven course tasting menu with wine pairing, and the entire experience was incredible. We began with snacks and drinks outside with a gorgeous view of the valley and mountains before moving inside, which has crystal-like pendant lighting and beautiful textured artwork of the mountain and water views. I loved the attention to detail in how the decor incorporated the hotel's themes with glacier water and crystals, mountain-like organic texturing, and gold detailing of the natural, glacier shapes. Every course and wine pairing was excellent, and I was quite taken with how beautifully presented and unique each one was. The staff were all equally incredible. They were so knowledgable, genuine, and friendly. They went above and beyond to explain all of our questions about various aspects of the meals and wine pairings, and their expertise was evident. We are so glad we chose to celebrate our anniversary here and could not have asked for a better experience. Next time you are in Grindelwald, make sure to plan an evening at Glacier Fine Dining.

This was such a lovely dining experience in Switzerland! The food was fantastic and such a umami and flavor explosion in our mouth! We haven’t had those flavors in Switzerland yet until we came here! I really hope this place receives a Michelin star soon because it felt like we were in one! FOOD: everything was fantastic from the amuse bouche to the main courses. There was a lot of unique textures to all of the dishes and mains. I loved the fish courses, tartare, gamey meat main. The palate cleansers and bread in between was also fantastic! We did the 7 course meal and there were a lot of fun surprises! The meal reminded me of many 1 star Michelin restaurants! SERVICE: the service was fantastic! It was unpretentious and very inviting and welcoming which I loved. My only feedback for the restaurant is that I noticed at many higher end establishments they usually clear dirty plates away right away. There were moments when our plates weren’t cleared for about 15-20 minutes and even some waiters would see and pass by but they weren’t our main server. Not a big deal but I think this small detail would really help! PRICE: the price was very reasonable for everything we got. Another note is the view is absolutely gorgeous! Overall I highly recommend!

Food was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Views from the dining room were beautiful. Had the 7 course dinner and really loved the swiss salmon dish. The wine list was extensive and they had many options by the glass so we could try lots of swiss wines.

My wife and I have never experienced fine dining quite like this. Meals were absolutely wonderful and the creativity was on another level. We had the pleasure of having Thomas take care of us and I would say we couldn’t have had it better. Great knowledge and stories that made our stay that much better.
