Sehr gute regionale Zutaten alles selber gekocht.Kein convenience Food hier ist der Koch noch Koch kein plastiksackerl rührer man bekommt wahnsinnig gute Gutbürgerliche Küche.Wie bei Omi vor 40 50 Jahren.Lokal sehr sauber.Personal sehr aufmerksam freundlich und flink.Waren jetzt öfters hier wichtig ist aber zu reservieren das Gasthaus ist gut besucht und meist voll.Kein Wunder bei der Qualität.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Wirtshaus im Waldviertel mit interessanten Speisen, freundlicher Bedienung und angemessenen Preisen (unter der Woche gibt es auch günstige Mittagsmenüs). Ausgezeichnet war die gebratene Beiriedschnitte vom Waldviertler Rind (mit Jungzwiebelrisotto, Eierschwammerlsauce, Chilikarotte). Ein Glas Blauburger vom Weingut Hindler (Schrattenthal) hat sehr gut dazu gepasst! Als Nachspeise waren die Topfen-Mohnknöderl in Nussbrösel mit hausgemachten Zwetschkenröster und Vanilleeis eine Sensation. Ein wunderbares Mittagessen im Gastgarten.

Durfte hier schon mal ein im Rahmen einer Hochzeit die ich fotografiert habe auch das köstliche Essen von Gerhards Wiazhaus kennen lernen. Auch das Service war großartig und ziemlich zügig unterwegs. Ein bisschen abgelegen, aber auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert.
