Netter Service und gutes Essen. Hatte jetzt mehrfach das Schnitzel mit Kochkäse und auch mal das Rahmschnitzel. Immer sehr gut. Der Salat dazu ist frisch und nicht im Dressing ertränkt.

Während einer Wanderung von Rimbach zur Tromm haben wir hier an einem lauen Sommerabend Rast gemacht und uns gestärkt. Die Gaststätte liegt recht abgelegen auf dem Höhenzug zwischen Tromm und Hammelbach (Gemarkung Grasellenbach), erreichbar mit dem Auto auf einer Schotterstraße. Aufgrund der Lage von über 500 Metern über NHN lässt es sich hier an heißen Sommertagen gut aushalten. Wir waren in jeder Hinsicht positiv überrascht. Das Essen (Schnitzelsalat und halbes Hähnchen mit Pommes) war sehr gut und reichlich und es herrschte eine familiäre Atmosphäre, wo gefühlt jeder jeden kennt. Und die Preise sind für heutige Verhältnisse absolut in Ordnung. Fazit: Verdiente fünf Sterne!
