Das Forsthaus erscheint äußerlich wie innerlich in einem rustikalem und bodenständigen Ambiente. Wer Lust auf deutsche Küche hat wird hier schnell fündig, auf der Karte findet man ebenfalls alte DDR-Klassiker wie Steak Au Four, Toast- und Steak "MELBA", Soljanka oder einfach nur Würzfleisch. Geschmacklich gibt es am Essen nichts auszusetzen, alles ist frisch zubereitet. Preislich gestaltet sich das Essen in einem angemessenen Rahmen, pro Person zahlt man ungefähr 20€, abhängig davon was man bestellt ist auch auch 20-30€. Der Wirt überzeugt mit einem frechem Charm und etwas Witz, hier wird nicht lang um den heißen Brei geredet. Sollte es mal länger dauern wird sofort darauf hingewiesen. Das Restaurant ist stets gut besucht, weshalb es sich lohnt zu reservieren. Jedoch wird man auch ohne Reservierung noch bedient, sofern Kapazitäten verfügbar sind, der Wirt ist ab und zu allein. Sehr weiter zu empfehlen!

Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich zu vernünftigen Preisen und ist lecker. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. Danke für euren Service und eure Gastfreundschaft.
