Quelle: GoogleAbendesssen im schönen Gasthaus zum Hirsch in Schlattstall. Wobei dieser Weiler selbst durch seine Albtrauflage und seine Mühlengeschichte inkl. Karstquellen als Idyll einzuordnen ist. Die beiden Wirte, Stefan Finger & Ralf Stümpfle, kultivieren einen nahezu brutal albschwäbischen Küchenstil dessen Karte und Telleroptik einem hinterwälderischen Dorfgasthof bis auf die nicht vorhandene 60er-Jahre Tomaten-, Karotten- und Peterling-Deko zum Verwechseln ähnlich ist. Beim ersten Gericht staunt man dann über dessen Geradlinigkeit, Präzision und regionale Uraromatik. Und weil sich der Spaß von Gang zu Gang wiederholt ahnt man schon in welche kulinarische Goldgrube der still vor sich hin begeisterte Esser geraten ist. Die Chefs wirken resistent gegenüber flüchtigem zeitgeistigem Lob und machen ihr Ding weil sie selbst es genau so wollen. Und ich wünsche mir die Einzigartigkeit dieser Wirte und ihrer Küche noch eine Weile begleiten zu dürfen.
Quelle: GoogleDie Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen waren schnell und freundlich. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich und lecker. Wir hatten den Rostbraten und die überbacken Maultaschen. War beide echt gut. Preise sind ok. Es hat ein paar kostenlose Parkplätze, kann aber auch mal voll werden.
