Ich bin ein großer Freund der „Schwäbischen Schlachtplatte.“ Heißt: Sehr erfahren und in der Lage „gute Qualität“ zu erkennen. Liebe Leute, das beste was mir bisher auf den Teller kam, ist die Schlachtplatte vom Gasthof Engel!! Beste Fleisch-Kraut Kombination, sehr feines Brot und ausgezeichneter Service. Leider gibt’s diesen Genuss nur 1 mal pro Jahr! Vorbestellung ist notwendig! Nicht zuletzt auch herrlich: Der Pflaumenschnaps als kleine Geste des Hauses zum Abschluss: Die gute Nachricht zum Abschluss: Der Kompetente „Engelwirt“ hat zugesagt, dass es weiter Schlachtplatten in den nächsten Jahren gibt! Bravo, wir kommen wieder!!!

Altes traditionelles Gasthaus mit freundlichen Leuten. Gutes hausgemachtes Vesper aus eigener Schlachtung. 1 mal im Jahr gibt es die beste Schlachtplatte die man sich vorstellen kann. Bedienung und Service ist sehr gut. Alles in allem, sehr sehr zu empfehlen.
