Saßen im Außenbereich. Die Karte bietet eine tolle Auswahl. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, auch der Hund bekommt einen Napf. Es wird immer wieder nachgefragt, aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Gerichte sind optisch und geschmacklich sehr gut. Das Fleisch ist auf den Punkt und wirklich sehr zart. Das Wildgericht war so lecker und die Soße mehr als lecker. Alles war mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Absolut empfehlenswert. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Waren wir früher der Meinung es handelt sich beim Forsthaus um ein Ausfluglokal mit Biergarten im Sommer, wurden wir zu Weihnachten von der gehobenen Küche überrascht. Eines hat uns der Tag auf jeden Fall gebracht. Wir werden nicht nur den einen Termin im Jahr beim Country Fair einhalten. Das ist vor allem dem Erlebnis im Forsthaus geschuldet.
