Restaurant DFAC in Hohenfels

Excelente Auswahl, super Preis, aber nicht für alle, da es zu einer militärischen Einrichtung gehört

Kein Vergleich zu Deutschen Kantinen. Gute Auswahl, großzügiges Salatbuffet, viele Desserts.

Bin eating there on and off for the past 30 years, since childhood. In the 90's and early 00's the food was fresh cooked und ingredients were mostly fresh and natural. But over the years the US Mil decided to cut costs and feed their soldiers and civvies more and more plastic. It's chemical shat and you can taste it. Only good thing are some of the burgers, the cakes (not the packaged ones) and the salad bar. At least they got rid of the awful slush ice machines. Don't blame the staff, blame higher ups. They could buy stock from local farmers, but who am I to speak...

Buono il cibo servito in questo DFAC, dalla colazione, al pranzo ed alla cena. Personale gentile ed amichevole, tanta scelta tra bevande di vario genere, molto fornito anche nei contorni, nella frutta e nei dessert con torte di vario tipo che si trovano nel frigo già in porzioni.

One of the better DFacs I've eaten at recently. Even with some of the typical meals, everything has pretty good flavor. Good variety. Large selection in the salad bar area, multiple desserts, several snack options. Not bad at all. 👍🏼

Overall 4.5/5. Friendly staff, and good variety of food (good salad bar and several options for the main course, aside other snacks and desserts). Although some dishes are better than others, I cannot complain about their quality. Good place to meet people since Hohenfels is so small compared to other bases.
