Das Waldviertel steckt voller Überraschungen. In der Ecke Österreichs, wo hervorragende Restaurants abseits vom Schweinsbraten und gebackenen Karpfen sehr dünn gesät sind, findet man in einem klitzekleinen stillen Dorf haarscharf an der Grenze zu Tschechien, neben dem idyllischen Museum Humanum, ein wirklich exzellentes Restaurant mit vorwiegend italienischen Spezialitäten.Die enorm freundlichen Wirtsleute stammen aus Südtirol und haben von da ihre Esskultur mitgebracht. Dazu kommt ein geschmackvolles Ambiente, dass man so oft auch in teuren Restaurants vermisst. Die Preise für die frisch aus Biozutaten zubereiteten Gerichte sind sehr fair. Absolut hervorragend, aber "pssst" nix weitersagen, soll ein Geheimtipp bleiben ;-)Geöffnet nur von Mai bis September, jeweils Freitag, Samstag und Sonntag.
