Wenn ich in Norden bin, ist es fast schon Pflicht ins "Café ten Cate" zu gehen. Durch die Ostfriesenkrimis bin ich auf dieses stilvolle Café aufmerksam geworden und komme seitdem immer wieder. Die Auswahl an Kuchen und Torten ist exzellent. Der Kaffee ist gut und der Service immer freundlich und nie aufdringlich. Ein Muss ist für mich das Marzipanbrot, welches sehr lecker und nicht zu süß ist. Preislich liegt "ten Cate" auch im normalen Rahmen. Für ein großes Stück Torte und ein Kännchen Kaffee (ergibt ca. 2,5 Tassen) zahlt man knapp 10,- Euro. Dafür bekommt man dann auch Qualität.

Cafe und Schokoladenmanufaktur passen sehr gut zusammen. Tolle Torten laden zum Genießen ein. Ein schöne Kleinigkeiten als Mitbringsel sind hier in Massen zu finden.

Sehr schönes Café, Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist auch gut und gemütlich. Tolle Auswahl an Kuchen. Wir hatten eine Ostfriesische Tee Zeremonie für zwei und je einen Apfelstrudel mit einer sehr leckeren Vanilllesauce und eine Waffel mit Sahne. Beides wirklich sehr sehr lecker!! Auch der Tee war sehr gut und schmeckte. Dieses Café ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.
