Bestes DFAC der US Army

They definitely have better food. Stays pretty busy and have to stay in line obviously but their service is pretty decent. And they do have variety of food choices and definitely lots and lots of breads.

It's an Army Dinning Facility (DFAC for those in the know), so those of that frequent DFACs should already know what to expect. The front of the house, the tables, food and drink areas are very clean. The tables could be a little wider, there's room enough for two food trays and no room for both of you to put your arms up to eat comfortably. Just like most of the other DAFCs in the Army, all the meat is prepared to an extreme well-done temperature. The "fast-food" area is a little different, the burgers that I have had so far have been cooked to the medium temperature. The "wok" food is not as you would think, they sue spaghetti as the noodles, which doesn't work for me. The hoagies are not too bad, but, that's only been on the menu once in the month I've been here. If I had to pay to eat here like I would have to do when I'm back in the States, I would not spend my money at the Flight Line Cafe Warrior Restaurant.

Typical overseas dfac. Typical German hours. No midnight chow, no grab and go. Food isn't terrible, but when they're out of something it doesn't get replenished. If you see cookies, grab them.

I was there for Thanksgiving dinner. I drove from Nuermberg. I was a little disappointed. Some of the food was real dry. I couldn't find any gravy. And the pie selection was low.

Breakfast is usually ok, but this is the second time my burger has been raw on the inside. I’m good with medium, even medium rare, but the inside of my burger was completely raw.

I ate the yakisoba entree tonight and my body rejected it. It tasted fine but I threw it up. I also had a really bad upset stomach. This is not the only bad encounter I’ve had with this dfac. I’ve found mold on my waffles 3 times since I’ve been here and mold on the Cantaloupe/ honeydew melon fruits.
